I'm back from Bronycon. It was a ton of fun, and also fairly profitable, which is good. :3 I'm looking forward to going again next year.
Just as an FYI, my upcoming con schedule includes Rainfurrest next month, BABScon 2015, Everfree NW 2015, and Bronycon again in 2015 as well.
Right now I am dead tired after the crazy schedule I kept to prepare for two huge conventions in a row, so I am taking at least a few days off of work. When I start work again, I'll be finishing the last of my dragon kickstarter rewards, getting a few small commissions off my plate, catching up on one very overdue fursuit project, and then diving right into prep for Rainfurrest, which means making tails, tails, and more tails. If you're going to be at Rainfurrest, feel free to suggest tails you'd like to see for sale there!

Writing and other WTFery
First, for the record, I *loathe* the new DA. Ugh. I am not among those who hate it visually, I think it looks fine, though it's nothing special. But *functionally* it is just a nightmare of unexplained and inexplicable decisions. It took me several days after it was crammed down my throat for me to even figure out how to browse the stuff I watch properly. AUGH. I've got that part, but posting will be an all-new adventure, no doubt. Thing is, I'm no longer posting directly for the most part, I've picked up postybirb, so it does all the fiddly bits for me and lets me post the same thing on a heap of sites without spending all day re-pasting things into fields. I did this because as part of my further dedication to try to make a "real" career out of writing, I am trying to self-promote and upload what stories I can (read: what stories I'm not sending to a publisher who wants first publication rights) for free. They're moving from leaving comments luring in fans to PMing artists, it seems.
If you don't know, DA is currently being flooded by a scam where people are told they've won some kind of prize. The actual prize is being phished, of course. Don't follow the link if you get a post like that and certainly don't give any personal information whatsoever to randos on the net who've said you've won something. That little tip there is "interneting 101", really. It's not that you can never trust anybody on the internet. I ask people to trust me with their money at all the time, for starters.
